About Us

Mallalieu is a delightfully hybrid retail space that boasts a European & Melbourne inspired curation of fashion and apparel. We pride ourselves on curating a collection of fashion and apparel exclusively from talented Australian designers, including Zoe Kratzmann, POL, VALIA, Ceres Life, Maggie the label, DEA the label, and more.

We value Australian design ingenuity, as well as great quality fabrics and designs that stand the test of time.

Located at 113 Auburn Road, Hawthorn - we’re lucky to find ourselves in the heart of one of Melbourne’s oldest shopping strips, dating back to 1850! The views alone are worth the visit. The banter (we’ve heard) is great too!

We have a leafy courtyard for you to enjoy our delicious locally roasted coffee, and one (or many) of our delicious cakes and slices.

Our seats are very limited as we are a hybrid, shared space with our gorgeous boutique.

For the most comfortable experience, we encourage bookings of up to four guests.
